Medical Use
Nichiban has made continuous efforts to develop medical products, centering on adhesive bandages and surgical tapes. In addition to surgical tapes, our wound dressings, catheter dressings and protective coverings (for punctures following injections or blood donations) are widely used in medical institutions as part of their medical care. In particular, our puncture protective materials “CHUSHAVAN®”, “INJECTION PAD” and “STEPTY®” have gained a high reputation among medical care facilities for their unique properties.

Sterilized adhesive tapes for skin closure, using non-woven rayon polyester fabric coated with acrylic adhesives.

First-aid Bandage
OQ BAN ECO™
First-aid bandage made of polyethylene film (in place of polyvinyl chloride which tends to generate dioxins during incineration). Hypoallergenic adhesive materials are coated.
CHUSHAVAN™
Adhesive bandage with pad, cellulose protective covering after injections. The pad is a layered non-woven fabric, and the tape mainly consists of non-woven pulp polyester fabric, coated and adhesives.

Adhesive bandage with hemostatic pad: The pad is made of an unwoven cellulose fabric; The tape is made of an unwoven fabric made mainly from pulp and polyester and acrylic adhesives.
STEPTY™
The adhesive bandage stops bleeding by compressing. It is used after immobilizing the intravenous line or following the drawing of blood using thick injection needles (14-18 gauges).
